like any thriving economic system, the market has its own underbelly, complete with sex trade. ishtar — known to many as the mother monster — is a figurehead in the market's red light district and provides the very specialzed service of a monster harem (populated solely by her own children). offering the services of half-breeds and hybrids and monsters alike, part of the payment for laying with one of ishtar's children is laying with ishtar herself. she uses each client as an opportunity gather enough seed to keep her garden 'flush' with new creepy crawlies (variety is the spice of life!).
although isthar's services tend to appeal to the fetishistic, bizarre and slightly off-kilter, more traditional brothel services are available (and, on the flip side, more extreme). in ishtar's house, nothing is considered taboo, only more expensive. most of her children render services obediently, happy to placate their doting mother. there are a few here and there, however, that have tried to bribe their way out of the market and out of ishtar's grasp. i will be rolling a couple of ishtar's children but i'd love it if anyone else would roll more! their services run the gambit from hardcore snuff to more cultured companionship (like geisha). clients, happy or unhappy, also welcome!
of extra note: ishtar is of the merchant class. unlike other merchants who are descendants of some of the market's original founders, rumor has it that ishtar helped found the market way back when herself. (she neither confirms nor denies this.) members of the original founding merchant houses would also be great cr for her to have.
